In 2023, we’ve experienced a year marked by a welcome sense of relief from the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic that characterized the previous year. This newfound comfort has allowed us to gather physically for worship and various activities, creating a more enriching and communal experience. As we celebrated the 14th year of our church anniversary, we engaged in diverse activities to foster appreciation for our church leaders and encourage the active involvement of families within the congregation. Recognizing the importance of spiritual nourishment, we have kept our members engaged through weekly devotional services held on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Our youth have been incredibly vibrant and thriving, securing two championships in inter-church volleyball tournaments in Harrisburg and Lancaster.
Additionally, youth camping, kids’ activities, Vacation Bible School (VBS) classes, and Training for Trainers (T4T) sessions have contributed to their holistic growth.
One of the highlights of the year was hosting the 1st BNCA-Women Conference in our church, bringing together around 500 women from different cities and states across the USA. This event was a significant testament to the strength and unity of women within our Christian community.
A noteworthy initiative that has commenced is the TNT ( Training for Trainers) class for our leaders, led by Ps. Lazarus Thulung from Nepal. This one-year training program, primarily conducted through Zoom, has included physical classes, fostering a deeper understanding of the Word of God. We earnestly request prayers for the participants in this class as they embark on this transformative journey.
Looking forward, our commitment remains steadfast to building saints for His gospel through discipleship and individual equipping, akin to an ‘Army of God.’ As we navigate the path ahead, we seek your prayers for our church to become true disciples of Christ, emphasizing qualitative growth over mere quantity. May our journey in 2024 be filled with continued spiritual enrichment and a deepening connection with God.
