CANAAN BETHEL CHURCH

——COME & WORSHIP——

Canaan Sports Club

Canaan Sports Club began its journey in 2012 in Houston, Texas, emerging as both a hub for physical activity and a center for spiritual engagement. Our mission is to promote an active lifestyle while sharing the Gospel with the younger generation, acknowledging their strong connection to sports. In 2012, we took a significant step by organizing an intercity soccer (football) tournament exclusively for Bhutanese and Burmese refugee boys and girls in Texas. This initiative marked the commencement of our commitment to using sports as a platform for community outreach and spiritual enrichment. Every year since, we have upheld our tradition of organizing soccer and volleyball events, solidifying our role in interstate soccer tournaments.

Sports serve as a compelling means to connect with the youth in our community. Our church has established various play areas, encompassing football, volleyball, table tennis, cricket, Khuru, and karate. Each of these areas provides an avenue for physical activity and nurtures a sense of teamwork, discipline, and fellowship among our members. Canaan Sports Club aspires to be more than just a sports organization; it is a community where individuals of all ages come together to celebrate the joy of sports, forge enduring connections, and explore the teachings of the Gospel. Join us on this exciting journey of combining physical fitness with spiritual growth, creating a holistic approach to a vibrant and active life.
